Dispute concerning Central Grid may lead to legal action by Aldon Huffhines

Central Grid and the Scales of Justice
Barbara Newman, known in Second Life as Barb Carson worked with Frank Corsi, who was known in Second Life as Jasper Tizzy on Central Grid. She is now pursuing legal action against Corsi.
Central Grid is an OpenSim based grid, which seeks to provide a Second Life like environment, without many of the requirements that Linden Lab has placed on residents. Recently, Central Grid has announced that currency is now active.
Jasper Tizzy’s departure from Second Life last year caused great turmoil in the Second Life financial markets and has contributed to difficulties in the early days of Central Grid. Early on, the Anicapistan Capital Exchange (ACE) was looking into setting up operations in Central Grid. However, when it became common knowledge that Frank Corsi was one of the owners of Central Grid, ACE pulled out of Central Grid, stating
"Beyond slander and libel and collusion with saboteurs, they openly, as individuals, monopolize grid locations for personal benefit. We are extremely leery of holding any virtual currency in a grid managed by the likes of Jasper Tizzy."
Now, a conflict between Newman and Corsi has further clouded the future of Central Grid. According to Newman, she has retained the counsel of Robert Brackman, Esq. Brackman works for “Brackman and Brackman, a general practice of law with special emphasis on the developing field of virtual law, as well as corporate ethics and regulatory compliance requirements, white collar criminal defense, property law and alternative dispute resolution.”
Earlier this year, Brackman represented Patrick Leavitt in a dispute over Sailor’s Cove. An out of court agreement was reached. Two SL residents, Izabella Bentham and Tasha Kostolany claimed that their voluntary efforts as estate managers for Leavitt entitled them to equal ownership rights and that Leavitt had made them full and legal partners.
Bentham and Kostolany settled for an undermined sum in recognition by Leavitt of their "sweat equity." The point at the heart of the matter, the assertion by Bentham and Kostolany of a "verbal contract" thus, was not decided since the case was settled.
Why would you even think about any business dealings with the likes of Frank Corsi?
This person better have known who they were going into business with, so no claim should be made.
I in no way support Frank Corsi, ubt in rl terms if you go into business with the mafia you dont sue when they do something against the law.
This person is going to get slammed if it goes to court, since there have been many warnings about Frank Corsi and what he has done.
I am sorry, but you plain should have known better.

I could care less what this article was about however Frank Corsi should never be believed. He is one of the biggest liars I have ever met. If you go back to his days in SL he BS's how he left by dumping all this stuff on someone else. It seems like he always has a way to put it on someone else just like he did here: I made her a partner in CG based on her contribution of time and skills that she could offer CG then she quit back in aprox may. She never invested any money into CG as she claims, she purchased an estate, then rented a server to host regions in CG. As many other members of CG also have done. Her estate is valid for her lifetime and she can use it anytime, the regions she abandoned and did not pay the tier fees," he concluded.
Its a total joke and everyone that asks me about CG I tell him the stories I have had with Frank and that he is a head person running it. I hope Frank goes down in flames, I would be the first in line to laugh in his face and say, "Karma's a Bi***!."

This person is going to get slammed if it goes to court, since there have been many warnings about Frank Corsi and what he has done. i think it's absolutely right.
In SL, I am extremely busy. It has been my experience to have had business dealing with Jasper Tizzy. Due to the fact that I am extremely busy in SL, the knowledge that Jasper Tizzy has returned to SL was not shared with me. It could have easily been me or someone I know who trusted Frank Corsi again. There are many others in SL lurking around searching out people as new victims. Without an update on who these people come into SL as, how are we to know?

Legal action will be taken against him and justice will be done.

Many months later now and still no lawsuit, or a letter from this lawyer. This is all false reporting. Just negative press. Anyone who knew jasper tizzy will tell you he never did anything wrong in SL and most comments are from people who dont understand what happened. SLNN has to post false reports to get news, this is a bad idea.
