ROUGE - Codebastard Redgrave, SL personality, often featured in the pages the Avastar and known for her series of erotic photographs of well-known SL women, the Boudoir Rouge series, and her MacinimaCam, has opened her new sim, Rouge .

The sim, created by Eshi Otawara, an SL artist who has recently been in the news for her struggles to remain in the United States, terraformed and built the sim for Redgrave, making a sim-sized replication of her friend, from her red stilettos to her wild red hair.

Otawara terraformed the sim, ostensibly sculpting it into a bent over figure of Redgrave chained to a pole. She built various facilities inside the figure of Redgrave, including a dance floor and meeting place under the hair. next to the face (the Code Red Lounge) , an art gallery following the curves of the figure's back (the Boudoir Rouge Gallery Walk), and a store (the Rouge Boutique) located at the base of the dance pole.

Otawara did most of the particle scripting herself and some of the textures, altering some full perm textures and using other textured ones. The entire sim uses only 2500 prims. Otawara said she found Redgrave inspiring, and she remarked that "the shackles are my little twist to have the sim stay 'put' and remain sexy."

Redgrave has stated that the dress code is strict: "naked, lingerie, or anything red." She has asserted that the sim is to be mature.

Redgrave built the sim to house her increasingly growing collection of Boudoir Rouge photos as well as to hold events for her friends and admirers. She is in talks to hold fashion shows and have regular organized events to keep traffic coming to the sim. Additionally, she will be opening a fashion boutique featuring the work of such designers as Tesla, Casa del Shai, Juicy, Bluebell Productions, Simply Silks, Callie Cline, and Alexx Markova.

The Grand Opening party started on Saturday, July 5, and as expected, the sim was packed to capacity . The sim had events throughout the day, hosted by Queen Coronet and LadyArwen Demina.

The sim is currently limited to members of the Code Red group, and an IM to Codebastard Redgrave will assure admittance. The sim will be opened to the general public July 6.
