SWA - Sioxie Legend, Fashion Designer for Second Wave Apparel, put on a fashion show this weekend called the 'Third Wave', inspired by the new zipper jeans she has created in a series of colors, which mark a new generation of design for the store.

Legend also displayed the latest range of outfits created for Second Wave Apparel, 25 in total, and gave audience members two bangles made for the show, one gold and one silver, in an Arabian theme to match the runway and setting.

Legend thanked her business and creative partners for their support in putting together the show.

"Well, first I would like to give a shout out to Tigerlily, who is such a wonderful person, and to Charlotte, who has been my business partner in SL and a guide. For the customers, thank you for being so loyal friends - I appreciate each and every one of you and I hope to continue earning your patronage for the months and years to come".

Top model Nash Fraenkel was responsible for building the runway as well as modelling on it; she admitted to being more nervous a week before the show than on the day but said she doesn't let her nerves get  in the way of her career.

"I have to concentrate to focus the enormous energy of excitement so that I can finish the things that need to be done," says Fraenkel. "My job is mainly to allow the models and Helke, especially Helke, to put their nervousness onto me - they trust that I will guide the show well so they can just relax a little and have some fun with it."

Fraenkel showed SLNN around the secret back stage and shared some modelling secrets. The area contained a posestand for every model, to prevent hold-ups (although if there ever was a hold-up, a different model would take over until the original model was ready). There was also an invisible wall around the runway so the models didn't take a little dip if they went too far!

The runway was built to a Arabian theme, with a palace at the back and water in front of and around it. The seating area was made up of arabian couches and every seat had a different textures.

The show was introduced by Helke Duettmann, Owner of Duettmann & Fraenkel Modelling, and featured the SWA Zipper Jean Line, as well as cute tennis outfits with matching hats, and a new line of lingerie. The show was a smash, the clothing fantastic, the models were picture perfect and the audience very impressed.
